What is builder gel?
Builder gel (also called BIAB or structured gel) is a thicker gel that I apply over your natural nails to give them structure. It's not an extension — it reinforces the length you already have. The result looks clean and natural, and your nails feel stronger than with regular gel polish.
Builder gel or bio gel? Bio gel is a softer, more flexible strengthening gel. Both are the same price — $60 — and I choose the one that suits your nails best: builder gel when you need more structure, bio gel for thin or flexible nails.

How your appointment goes
- Prep. Careful cuticle work and shaping with my Slavic combined technique (e-file + fine nippers), which gives the clean line around the cuticle my clients love.
- Structure. I build a thin, even apex with builder gel, so the nail is strong but doesn't look bulky.
- Colour or design. Nude, milky, glazed, French or your own idea. Simple design is included in the price; complex hand-painted art is +$20.
- Finish. You leave with a high-gloss finish and simple aftercare tips.
How long does it last?
- Builder gel usually lasts 3 to 4 weeks, depending on how fast your nails grow.
- My clients regularly tell me their nails still look perfect after 3 weeks.
- Book your next appointment at around 3–4 weeks so your nails keep their shape.

Is builder gel the same as BIAB?
BIAB ("Builder In A Bottle") is a brand name for a type of builder gel. Clients often use the two terms interchangeably. The idea is the same: a strengthening gel layer over your natural nails.
Will builder gel damage my natural nails?
Damage usually comes from over-filing or peeling gel off. I prep gently and remove builder gel properly. Please don't pick or peel it — message me if a nail lifts.
Can I get builder gel on short nails?
Yes. Builder gel works well on short nails and helps them grow out stronger.
Is nail art included with builder gel?
Simple designs like French, dots, cat-eye and chrome are included in the $60 price. Complex hand-painted art is +$20.
How long does a builder gel appointment take?
About 2 hours.
Do you do bio gel?
Yes. Bio gel is part of this service at the same price, $60. I'll choose builder gel or bio gel depending on your nails.
